In 2014, Debbie Davis and Matt Perrine released their holiday record, “Oh Crap, It’s Christmas!” to critical and popular success. In the following 6 years, a live, annual show became a traditional for musicians and audiences, alike. With band consisting of Josh Paxton, Alex McMurray, Andre Bohren and Jack Craft, with Perrine as music director and Davis at the wheel, a rotating cast of special guests made every year different and special. This year, in the absence of doing the yearly live show, the gang got back together for a socially distanced recording session that has delivered “Oh Crap, It’s Christmas! Volume 2: a Family Album.” With the same crackerjack band and some old and new guests, the new record embodies the fun and good will of the last half decade of live performances. We are thrilled to be performing for Live From the Funky Uncle in a virtual version of our yearly show.
