Welcome to the Funky Uncle Live! Since COVID hit in mid March 2020, we have been made very aware of how quickly our musical culture can be lost. With amazing support from our community since April 3, 2020, we’ve produced weekly music shows enabling us to help over 850 musicians and gig-workers by employing them and giving grants totaling over $650,000.  Our mission is to help those vital to our heritage and traditions. Now that the live music scene is slowly returning to our City, we feel that more than ever we need to archive those that provide the heartbeat of our lives here in New Orleans.  As such, with your help we will still be bringing the Funk to the people for Free and recording our history for all!
