With intellectual prowess and extraordinary creativity, Noggin is an original band in every sense of the word. They combine a funky big band with gritty hip-hop, danceable pop, funk, ska and just a dash of death metal. Performing mostly originals and quite a number of uniquely re-imagined classics (from a swamp pop ‘Black Hole Sun’ to a jazz/funk ‘ Sweet Dreams’), Noggin is as interesting as it is entertaining, offering a level of compositional depth and genre-bending performance that can safely be said to sound like nothing else.
