The Get Together is a young, NOLA-bred soul band comprised of TJ Norris (Dirty Dozen/Cha Wa), Ari Teitel (Cha Wa/Iggy Pop), Rob Kellner (Miss Mojo/Maggie Koerner) and Trenton O’Neal (Maggie Koerner/Deltaphonic) – they’re a funky quartet much like their predecessors The Meters . While each member boasts an impressive touring resumé, the band shares a reverence for classic funk, soul, jazz, and r&b and has firm roots in the Black church. Don’t let their age fool you! These young cats have some serious soul and swagger. You’ll notice The Get Together’s camaraderie both onstage and off, where they enjoy good BBQ & crawfish, health & wellness, second lines, family & friends, and of course flowers ;). If you’re a fan of Earth Wind & Fire, Anderson Paak, Vulfpeck, Sly & The Family Stone or Black Pumas, you’ll dig The Get Together.
