Big Chief Gerald Paige – Part of the Great Spirit Warriors Indian Tribe and Youth Empowerment Organization, Big Chief Gerald Paige leads the band Indian Water. Indian Water is the brainchild of Big Chief Gerald Paige Of The Great Spirit Warriors Black Indian Tribe. In his words, “I had to do some soul searching about how I can preserve the music, culture, and honor elders such as George Porter Jr., Cyril Neville, and others. After seeing a shift in our city and culture, I began to get upset with how our culture and local musicians were being treated. From this, Indian Water was born. The title Indian Water means: Food for Mind, Body and Soul. It’s a wake up call!!! A call to action!!! We are here to change the game and narrative.
