Life On Mars! is the Future Cowboys’ new album about life, love and environmental disaster from writers Jamie Bernstein, Eren Cannata & Miguel Oliveira. Their initial collaboration yielded a six song EP titled Going Kamikaze, which was named one of the 50 best albums of 2018 by OffBeat Magazine.
For more than 20 years now, Jamie has been writing songs, poetry, music and performing. Jamie grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, the heart of the Old Timey music scene. Jamie has lived in New Orleans since 1996. You may have seen Jamie on tv or the movies. He has appeared in Preacher, Treme, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, Roots, Old Boy, PaperBoy, and Dark Circles. Jamie Bernstein publicly entered the music business by producing “People Get Ready” for James “12” Andrews in 2007. Jamie enjoys writing songs and performing solo and with his bands the Future Cowboys and Yakameiniacs. Jamie Bernstein also hosts a weekly radio show on 102.3FM.
