Are you ready to get funky?

The 30th Anniversary Funk Dance Concert to Benefit New Orleans Charities will take place on February 24, 2022. Presented by the Fat Bankers Social Aid & Pleasure Club and Bougainvillea Productions, the concert will be at The Howlin’ Wolf on 907 S. Peters St. and will start at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

The concert’s headliner will be Parliament Funkadelic, with the Jason Neville Funky Soul Band serving as an opening act.

All proceeds will go towards benefitting two New Orleans charities. One will be Grace at the Green Light, which helps NOLA’s homeless community by providing them a place to get water, meals, and to socialize, as well as resources to help them return home to their loved ones or their supportive friends. The other charity will be The FunkyUncle.Live Funk Fund, which provides grants to local musicians and gig workers who are in need, especially because of COVID and Hurricane Ida, to help maintain New Orleans’ top-notch musical and production talent.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased on our website.
